
Shreyaa Mohan is a Research Associate in the Department of Neurology at NIMHANS. She holds an MSc in Neuropsychology from the National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar. Her master’s thesis was situated in the upcoming interdisciplinary field of neurocriminology, involving a systematic review of convergent brain regions implicated in offending behaviour, with relevance to understanding recidivism.
At NIMHANS, her clinical and research interests focus on the assessment and care of individuals with dementia. She works closely with geriatric patients at the Cognitive Disorders Clinic, Department of Neurology, and has co-developed a Cognitive Stimulation Techniques Manual for Caregivers to support structured, domain-specific cognitive engagement in daily care.
She is currently working as a Research Associate in the Department of Neurology at NIMHANS and is part of an ICMR-funded project examining skill-based cognition among Indian weavers. Her work explores occupational complexity, its potential neuroprotective role, and the development of literacy- and occupation-fair cognitive assessment methods.
