Bio

Shalini is a Research Assistant with training in Psychology from Maharani Cluster University. She has experience as a Field Data Collector for population-based cohort studies, including the project “Population-Based Cohorts Across the Stroke Life Course and Development of a Comprehensive Stroke Care Model at the District Level (SKAN NIMHANS Cohort)” under the Department of Epidemiology.

She currently works in the Department of Neurology at NIMHANS, where her responsibilities include recruitment of study participants, administration of cognitive assessments, and coordination of blood investigations and MRI scans.

Her research and professional interests focus on contributing to high-quality, community-based neurological and cognitive health research, with an emphasis on strengthening population-level evidence through rigorous field and clinical methodologies.
