Bio

Pratima A R is a Neuropsychologist with formal training in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology. She completed an MPhil in Clinical Psychology and is a doctoral scholar in Clinical Neuropsychology at the Department of Clinical Psychology, NIMHANS, Bengaluru. Her doctoral research focused on developing a music- and rhythm-based cognitive remediation programme for individuals with traumatic brain injury.

She has extensive experience in neuropsychological assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, intra-operative evaluations, and psychotherapy, working across diverse neurological, neurosurgical, and psychiatric conditions, including traumatic brain injury, dementia, stroke, epilepsy, and brain tumours.

She is currently working as a Neuropsychologist in the NIH-funded Precision-CARRS Study, a multicentric longitudinal cohort study examining risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Her work focuses on cognitive phenotyping and longitudinal characterization of cognitive trajectories in neurodegenerative disorders.
