Niteesh Kumar is a Research Assistant with training in Social Work, holding an MSW. His background provides expertise in patient engagement, psychosocial assessment, and coordination of care within clinical research settings.

He currently works in the Department of Neurology at NIMHANS, contributing to the NIH-funded project titled “The impact of bilingualism on cognitive reserve and resilience in socio-demographically and linguistically diverse populations.” His responsibilities include coordination with patients and caregivers, administration of cognitive assessments, facilitation of clinical workflows, and support for research data collection and management.
His interests centre on integrating psychosocial perspectives into neurological research, strengthening patient-centred approaches, and supporting ethical and inclusive research practices in cognitive and ageing-related studies.
