Bio

Ashlyn Hazel Francis is a Research Assistant and psychologist with a background in Clinical Psychology. She holds an MSc in Clinical Psychology from CMR University and has experience in cognitive assessment, neuropsychological testing, therapeutic interventions, and detailed case documentation. She has worked with diverse populations across community-based and clinical settings, building a strong foundation in applied mental healthcare.

She currently works at the Cognitive Neurology Lab, NIMHANS, contributing to an NIH-funded project focused on dementia risk, cognitive resilience, and healthy ageing. Her role involves participant recruitment and screening, administration of cognitive and language assessments, coordination of MRI sessions, and research data management. Her professional interests centre on improving access to mental healthcare and fostering stigma-free, supportive environments for psychological wellbeing, with a long-term commitment to strengthening ethical and inclusive mental health practices.
